This is an exciting season of Epiphany at St. Mark’s! I hope you are delving into the Stations study material which becomes your personal guide to the sermons and small group discussions that will be held between now and Easter. If you haven’t picked up your copy of the workbook, please do so this weekend.
And speaking of the weekend, this is your last chance to walk through the rectory before we begin the transition! Saturday evening, 5:00–8:00 pm is an open house and opportunity to see this 1854 Union Pacific Mansion (of the Chief Financial Officer: Larrabee). Join us for refreshments and a brief tour of all three levels of this extraordinary building. This is an adult evening. Sunday morning, children and families will be able to walk through the entire building while enjoying coffee and donuts compliments of the Prodigal Café. You won’t want to miss!
To pique your interest in the before and after, I am enclosing two artist renderings of the first- and second-floor interiors as they are projected to look upon completion. The work on this building which will then connect it with the rest of our campus promises to offer us a first-class facility for worship, fellowship, and study.
I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
