Lenten Retreat: The Rev. Fleming Rutledge

For our Lenten Retreat on April 6, 2019, St. Mark’s welcomes author, preacher, and teacher The Reverend Fleming Rutledge. Mrs. Rutledge will present from her major work, The Crucifixion: Understanding the Death of Jesus Christ. This award-winning work is the product of a lifetime and is described as a new classic on the subject. One of the first women to be ordained to the priesthood of the Episcopal Church, Mrs. Rutledge spent twenty-two years in parish ministry and is now a sought-after preacher and teacher.
The lecture begins at 10:30 am, then we will have lunch at 11:45. A question-and-answer period will follow until 1:00 pm.
Register now through April 3 for the lecture and lunch. Those staying only for the lecture only may register through April 5. The lecture is presented free of charge; the lecture with a box lunch is $10. Tickets for the lecture with lunch must be purchased with the form below. No payment will be accepted at the door. Childcare will be available for children up to age 5.
