Challenging Lifestyle: Part 1
Sept. 12-Oct. 17, 9-10 am, Rectory

Discover practical ways to live by faith with this 6-week course based on the radical teaching in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.  This video series by Nicky Gumbel is an excellent introductory Bible Study or follow-up to the Alpha Course.

3rd Sunday Adult Forum: Let’s do Lunch
Noon to 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall
Special speakers will discuss relevant topics over an informal lunch after the 10:30 service.
September 19: 6 Ways to Reach God’s World
Explore ways to contribute to God’s global work using your gifts and circumstances. Hear stories on how St. Markers are already making a difference. Pick up the booklet, 6 Ways to Reach God’s World in the fellowship hall, beginning Sept. 5.
October 17: Welcoming Children with Special Needs
The Children’s Ministry, The Flock, will host a speaker to talk to us about how a parish can minister to children and adults with disabilities.
November 21: Anxiety!
Just in time for Christmas, parishioner Mark Reinecke will discuss his newly published book that offers practical methods for dealing with anxiety.

Women’s Bible Study: Gospel of Mark

Bible Boot Camp: Old Testament

Bible Boot Camp is for men and women of all ages who are new to formal Bible study. No one will be asked to read or prayer aloud.  Commitment to the class and some homework expected. Lots of opportunity for questions too!

Over 13 million people worldwide have attended an Alpha Course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. The format consists of a meal, a short talk and small group discussion. Bring your questions, issues, and opinions! Bring a friend!

This guy’s only Lectionary Bible study discusses the lessons that are read at the weekend services. Throw in breakfast and feed both body and soul.
