The Acolyte Ministry is one of the oldest in the Church, dating to the earliest years, and is open to both young people (5th grade and older) and adults. Acolytes are responsible for attending to the Lord's Table lights, carrying the ornaments of the church in procession, serving the elements to the Celebrant at the Eucharist, and serving the clergy and staff in whatever way may be required. Training is conducted yearly, in the fall, but can be scheduled at any time by contacting the Acolyte Director, John Bernard.
