We are joyously grateful to be celebrating the 150th anniversary of worship in the St. Mark’s chapel. Beginning this fall, there will be celebratory events throughout the year, culminating in Homecoming Weekend next spring. Please plan on joining us!
All Saints Masquerade
A multi-generational event, Wednesday October 25, 2017, 6:00 pm
The event boasts costumed saints walking among the crowd as you and your family make your way to games like Saint BINGO, “She’s a witch!,” Canonize the Saint, Bowl Over the Heretic, and more. With pumpkin painting, creating saint halos and Reformation style food (grilled chicken, cabbage, and potatoes) it’s sure to be a good time.
Do I have to dress up? Nope! But you are encouraged to dress the part of a saint or make a halo upon entry. Saint costumes are like ghosts with halos, pirates without eye patches, or knights with crosses instead of swords. You can get another use out of that Halloween costume with some minor adjustments. The children will be talking “saints” during our Gathering Time in Sunday school so they may end up with a favorite. If you need ideas, just let Stacie Johnson know!
I want to come! To RSVP, click here. Tickets will be on sale at the door, $5 per individual with a $15 cap. Kids aged five years and under are free. (Nursery available for ages six months to two years.)
